The new flagship smartphones we see in the present day have not suddenly become so modern. Nor did any particular company bring the smartphone to this point. Smartphones have become super smart with the inventions of different companies and contribute modernization of smartphones. Smartphones are being created by creating a flower package that combines the new inventions that companies make. People do not always remember the name of the inventor but with their contribution we are getting flagship devices. Let’s see what contribution by different organizations, which companies contribute to the modernization of smartphones world at this stage.
Companies that contribute to different parts of the display
Many companies have contribute to the modernization of smartphones and have played a leading role in improving display technology.
Touch Screen : The smartest technology of the smartphone is the touch screen. IBM Simon was the world’s first touch phone in the US. The company manufactured the phone in 1994, but the Japanese Mitsubishi company was in charge of production.
Colored display on the phone : When the phone was discovered, the display was created to operate. But the simple display. Amoled : Although Samsung is the manufacturer of Amoled, that Amoled panel was first used by Nokia N85 in 2008!
Flexible Display : LG G Flex is a 2013 phone, the world’s first Flexible phone. Turning the phone slightly, if not too much, could prevent the phone from being smashed under the pressure of a pocket.

Under-Display Fingerprint : The Vivo Nex S is the world’s first under-display fingerprint sensor. The technology was still new and not so reliable, and then Samsung made it reliable with ultrasonic technology.
Curved display : The 2014 Samsung Note Edge or Note 4’s Edge version is the world’s first curved display phone. Whether or not this technology has any future, the market is shaking well.
Foldable display : Royole FlexPai is the first foldable smartphone to release in November 2018. Samsung and Huawei unveil their foldable device shortly after.
Notch : Essential is the company that unveils the first notch phone. It was a waterdrop notch so there was just the camera and the speaker on top. The iPhone uses the notch technology on their iPhone X phones but in a big way. The iPhone pushes a number of technologies, including speakers, cameras, IR projector, IR cameras into their extended notch.
Notch is very useful in this but it becomes worse to look at. Following the trend of the iPhone, several companies have introduced notch implantation but in the end everyone is giving preference to waterdrop notch. What to do with so much technology if it looks bad.
Companies that contribute to different parts of the camera
Many mobile technology companies have also made an immense contribution to the modernization of cameras on mobile, and they have also contribute to the modernization of smartphones.
Camera on the Phone : Sharp js-h04 was the world’s first camera phone. Sharp made this camera phone in 2000. Many people today know Sharp because of their modern electronics. But Sharp is no longer found in the mobile world.
Selfie Camera : Selfie camera was used in 2003 on a flipphone called sony z1010.
Dual Camera : The 2011 HTC Evo 3d is considered by many to be the first dual-camera phone. But in 2007, the Samsung SCH b710 was the first dual-camera phone. LG announced a phone called Optimus 3D in 2013, followed by the HTC Evo 3D release.
Bokeh effect : DSLR mode of hobby, DSLR of the poor, portrait mode of whatever you called it. It was first added to the m8 phone in 2014. There was no accurate, but the idea was good.
Wide Angle Lens : Wide angle lens is one of my most favorite technology in smartphone cameras (own choice, many may not like it). GoPro action cameras for those who cannot afford to shoot can also shoot wide. This technology was added to the smartphone by LG G5 in 2016. LG is still offering this technology in all their flagships.
Telephoto : Many people may have figured out that it’s an iPhone 7 Plus. However, the idea is wrong. Oppo has added telephoto cameras to smartphones through their R11 phone. 2017 but only a few months before the iPhone release.
Monochrome : Huawei P9 2016 smartphone with monochrome sensor added. They also have this sensor on their flagship P20 Pro, with the Nokia 9 PureView coming out with a monochrome sensor.
Triple Camera : Huawei P20 Pro launches first triple camera trend. But why this triple camera is not considered the best triple camera I have, the LG V40 phone has made the popular triple camera setup with three important sensors.
Image stabilization on camera : This is important for many, but for many it is negligible. But the importance of OIS is far more important to take photography at a good level on a smartphone. Samsung unveiled a phone called Samasung Galaxy Camera in 2012. There was a camera under the name but it was an Android smartphone. It was the first phone to have optical image stabilization.
Selfie charisma : Selfie cameras have long been neglected as simply selfie and video calling technology. But in 2015, the LG V10 phone offered two selfie cameras, one generally wide. Pixel 3 has also followed this setup. Samsung Note 4 used to video 2K resolutions with a 3.2 megapixel selfie camera in 2013, after a long time Samsung has given the opportunity to record 4K video on Galaxy S10. LG : Wide Angle Camera, Wide Selfie Camera, Flexible Phone, 24 Bit Quad DAC (Favorite Feature of Music Lovers), Log Recording, Manual Audio and Video Recording. Plastic OLED Display, Air Motion.
HTC : Android, portrait mode, quad core chip, OIS on selfie camera.
Oppo : Telephoto camera, most slim phones (for a few months), motorized phone, periscopic camera.
Vivo : 2K display, most slim phone (4.75mm), pop up selfie camera, under display fingerprint.
IBM : Touch, smart operating system.
Apple : First Touch Operated OS (iOS), IR face ID on smartphone.
However, many people believe that the current smartphone world has come at this stage because of the low mark in the iPhone discovery sector. The iPhone may have been nothing short of a new invention, but Apple combines the old technologies with a wonderful technology product. The iPhone made a ladder through which smartphones quickly rose.
So far we have known that many mobile technology companies have played an immense role in contribute modernization of smartphones. I believe that one small thing has been left out. Because all the parts and features of a smartphone have improved, but it is difficult to get the right information. That is why most efforts have been made to collect information from reliable sites.
